2021 Ford Mustang Engine Lineup
The 2020 Mustang comes in five available engines, including the most powerful street-legal one ever produced by ford, the 5.2L supercharged V8. This wildly commanding engine is offered in the all-new Shelby GT500, offering 760 horsepower, 625 lb.-ft of torque, and more. The Mustang also offers two different EcoBoost engines, both with 350 lb.-ft of torque, along with a Ti-VCT V8 in the GT edition, with 460 horsepower and 420 lb.-ft of torque and a Port Fuel Injection. The BULLITT features a 5.0L Ti-VCT V8 engine with 480 horsepower and 420 lb.-ft of torque, and the Shelby GT350 comes loaded with a 5.2L NA Ti-VCT V8 with Flat-Plane Crankshaft, which has 526 horsepower, 429 lb.-ft of torque, and a redline of 8,250 rpm, making it the highest revving engine to be created by Ford to date. No matter the Mustang you choose, the power you will experience will be like no other.
2021 Ford Mustang Interior
For the seasoned driver, stepping into the cockpit – yes, Ford calls the interior cabin a cockpit – of the new 2021 Ford Mustang will be immediately reassuring; every detail, from the shift column to the placement of the steering wheel, seems to be optimally in place. The airline metaphor makes sense, however, with large minimalist dials, knobs, and tactile switches taking the place of more modern and techy-looking instruments. Ford has decked out the new Mustang’s infotainment features with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and the latest SYNC 3 system, ensuring that your favorite tunes won’t let you down when you roll up to a light. Additionally, Track Apps are included in the new Mustang, instantly providing performance metrics, such as the lateral and longitudinal g-forces, acceleration times, lap times, and more. The 2021 Mustang is designed to provide optimal comfort for your experience on the road!
2021 Ford Mustang Safety
What says safety more than a high-visibility Rapid Red or Twister Orange muscle car? But in all seriousness, even though safety features are not usually the top selling feature that lures Mustang buyers, the 2021 Ford Mustang more than delivers. The available Ford Safe and Smart Package includes many driver-assist technologies, such as pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking, auto high beam headlamps, lane-keeping alert, adaptive cruise control, and rain-sensing wipers. It also has plenty of stopping power, with the EcoBoost model having four-piston brake calipers in the front with 352mm vented rotors, and the rear having single-piston calipers with 320mm rotors. And, the MagneRide Damping System is included in the Mustang to help you when road conditions change, providing you with a smooth drive. All in all, you’ll feel safer than ever in the 2021 Mustang with the many features and technologies to get you to your destination safe and sound.
